We’d like to wish all our readers, and Newcastle United fans all over the world a Very Merry Xmas and all the very best for 2008.

We know Newcastle United are on their way back to greatness, that’s not an if, it’s just a matter of when it will happen under new owner Mike Ashley and Chairman Chris Mort, who is running the club for Mike. We sincerely hope success will come to us sooner rather than later, and that we’ll still be around to report on all our successes, when they do come to Tyneside.

Maybe we’ll be celebrating some success this time next year. We’ll just have to wait and see on that one. We’ll also report on Newcastle United in a positive way and will not apologize for that, but we’ll also try to be realistic on things. That can be difficult when we start to win - but we’ll do our best.   :D

We thank all our readers for their support of our site. You can get an RSS feed or email feed on our articles here.

Ed Harrison.

great site and i have enjoyed using it in 07. i also think that we are on the road to recovery and that the single most important thing to bring it is stability. i hope that sam stays for at least the rest of this season and also the next too. i am still sure he will do the bizz. look at fergie at manure………..he took five years and was on the verge of getting the sack. sam can get us on the right track.

    Ed,
Merry Xmas. Great site which I always read first. Too optimistic and biased but what’s wrong with that in this day and age. Thanks for your efforts. Tell us a bit about yourself. What you doing in States? Do you see any games live in UK etc

Hadrian - your comments are noted - I’ll try to get a comments review up and also the map - thanks for suggestions. It’s a WordPress site - so there’s plenty of plugins that can give some excellent functionality.

Merry Christmas all, lets all be happy that we all support the best team in the premiership eh. What other team could fill us with such emotion everytime they play??

  • 14 Ed Harrison // Dec 25, 2007 at 21:53

Daiv - there’s a little bio under GOALS at the top of the site. We get all Premier Games over here on Fox (Sky) Soccer Channel and Setanta Sports. Also try to get back to Newcastle once a year but didn’t make it this year - although my wife was back in July for 3 weeks. She has 3 sisters and 4 brothers there and of course she’s from Newcastle too. My brother Rod is still in Newcastle - Kingston Park.
