  yep and if man city turn up against bolton on saturday and we win fulham we will be 7 points clear which would take the pressure of loads it will be great if we stay up as i think they will be an exiting summer ahead as if we actually pull of some of the signings weve been linked with we will have a SQAUD WITH TOP

  thats good news if bolton lose tonight, even though I always want manure to lose ALL the time because I HATE them, I suppose in this situation it is better if bolton lose. if we will are easier games against fulham, sunderland and reading, we’ll be fine i think, although I hope the other crap teams down by us lose there last 2 games, as we have really tough last 2…

  tdt - thats my only concern as well the last 2 games are tough i can see 1 point at best v Chelsea at home. Hopefully we will have done enough by then by winning our home games

  I dont know how reliable it is, but wikipedia says that west ham and blackburn are gonna go in for him, if this is true then we absolutely have to join them.

  if we stay up then our 2 biggest priorities in the summer have got to be to get the defense right eventually and to get creativity and pace into the squad.

  we need quality defenders i dont know where from but we just have to cos this year has been dreadfull even afta getting rid of clownsong and tightarse. id get van buyten just cos hes massive lol he any good not really seen him play?

  Roy Hodgson has been very nice about Newcastle

  I like him and he deserves a proper shot at the premiership after doing so well abroad…

  but we have to thump his side on saturday

  And then in the games after we play i hope Fulham get those wins at home and scrape out of it and the Mackems go down for a laugh.

  People are putting forward all these players to come to us but will they sign?

  As is always the case we will need to pay way over the odds in wages for players to attract them to the club.

  Why would they sign for us over say pompy or west ham?

  We need to be realistic in regards to transfers i feel.

  we have just as much a chance of signing players as those two, pompey might have a slight advantage because of possibility of uefa cup, however, we have history in uefa and champions league and many players may recognise that and see us as a rising force…maybe lol

  im kinda rooting for bolton today, but in truth i do not care the result. Boltons remaining fixtures are just way too difficult for them to survive regardless of waht happens tonight.

  Spyro i would honestly prefer Boro go down than Sunderland

  The media bug me to death with this Tyne Tees derby crap and even more embarassing is the tees wear derby i dont care what they do the media make out its something of a rivalry and its really annoying there a sh*te yorkshire club as far as im concerned.

  I agree the real Tyne Wear derby days are amazing to be in the north east theres such a buzz if youre going to the match or watching in the pub.

  But Sunderland have plenty of money to spend as well, if they stay up the might be a permanent fixture in the premiership and god forbid they may finbish above us again if something goes badly wrong next season.

  By the way Whats with the name change ??

  Boro fans consider it a massive competition to finish above us and they copy the mackems songs about KK and boo Owen like the mackems Used to boo Shearer

  We give it sunderland back, as its a derby and a big rivalry, thats why theres so much banter with Mackems that i know, I wish they would get peter reid back as manager, The Fkin Chimp

  But we dont bother with the smogs they should go and pick a fight with Bradford, Hull or Grimsby.

  agree with yas on that mind boros support is one of the worst in the league if not country. you see there stadium on motd some days and one whole stand will be empty.

  also remember a uefa cup match when they got about 10,000-15,000 which when a team is in europe is embarassing. we got more than that for pre season friendlies lol

  Probably for the first time since 1969, I feel really tired about whats going on at our club, perhaps I’m getting old but there seems to be too many employees at our club who are there for money and dont really care about NUFC and it worries me that KK could be included. I’ve spent enough on the club to buy a house but it saddens me deeply about who we’re employing these days. I have just scattered my dad’s ashes behind the goal, he supported us since just after the War . As a fan for 40 years I have to say the team and KK are awful and I just dont know where our beloved club is heading? I’ve pretty much give my age by this comment but I’m so upset at whats going on at our beloved club !!

  They dont get many fans but theres plenty of seats just in case

  They dont sing they just do this annoying hummy song when they score which isnt often

  da da da da, duuu duuu duuuu duuuu, da da da da, duuu duuu duuu duuu ETC.

  They are Very creative , The music is about the loudest noise coming out of the Pond side Stadium all match and drowns out their fans, And they go “come on boro” continually, and whistle when an opponant makes a mistake and thats about all they do.

  I think it was pogatetz who said he doesnt like match days as he has to go into the town centre!!!

  I virtually p**sed me self earlier when i was looking on Teletext and a boro fan texted in saying something along the lines of

  “Newcastles fans are the most loyal because they turn up to watch that dross every week”

  I think he should watch a video of their Cup tie with Sheff Utd and if he doesnt fall sleep within the first hour the he should get a holiday and spending money

  No wonder they get no full houses ZZZ

  I dont like Pogatetz
  if we wanted a LB who could play CB then we could do worse than Silvestre

  sam tried to sign him but he turned us down because of that loon barton, But if KK kicks barton out then it maybe on again if He overcomes his injury problems

  Useful to have players like that as we can change system and go to wing backs with say Taylor on the right of a back three Faye in the middle and the Silvestre on the left of the three.

  FAO Scott Hodge: Do you not think that where ever the club is, it is in the same place it’s been, or at least going, for the last 3-5 years? It’s like the old addage about big ships and how long they take to turn. Just because Ashley doesn’t have a gerodie accent you think he feels less about the club about that fat tw*t Shephed and his inept croneys. Or John Hall who cared so much about the region he adopted one of the worst fake plum accents I’ve ever heard in my life every time he was on camera. Or even captain eye patch before him?

  This club and it’s fans needs to stop with the bloody drama it’s becoming tiring it really bloody is. Liverpool, Tottenham, Leeds, Fulham, the list goes on and on of clubs that have dealt with problems, dodgy board, drops in form, administration and a revoling door management policy. Everton have been attrocious for well over 15 years to my mind and have beaten the drop and come back!

  Do you wanna know why the press get at us - cos they know we’re the idiots who’ll buy the paper every time they print it - every time.

  TBH though for someone who has been with the club since ‘69 I really don’t believe you think this is the lowest ebb - surely?

  IMO we’ve been worse and recovered to become better. We will do it again.

  I dont want Meite, good, but like taylor he makes too many mistake. Bridge is always injured and he will want high wages. Sidwell would be good, but i dont like that idea of him choosing chelsea over us and then coming to us because he couldnt get a game. I used to really rate SWP, but i think his physical size lets him down. He is too weak and short. His finishing and crossing are not consistent, one game he is amazing at both, the next he cant do either.
