Kevin Keegan talked to the Evening Chronicle today and admits that his first win took much longer than he thought it would.

Kevin Keegan - first won took 10 games
Keegan talked today to the Evening Chronicle and said:
“It took longer than anyone thought, most of all myself, to get a win.”“It came against a club totally committed and fighting for its survival. I thought we more than edged it.” “I think we thoroughly deserved the win.”
“Although it was nervy they never had us under the cosh.” “They had a couple of long shots in the first half, but I can’t remember them having a clear-cut chance in the second half.”
“But there’s always that chance and that’s why you get that nervousness.” “The crowd were a little bit nervy and on the bench you don’t know whether you want the second goal or just to run it out and win 1-0.”
“In the end Michael got the second goal and that gave us a nice last five or six minutes.”
It was very dodgy in the second half, even though we were playing well and seemed strong in defense for a change. But it was still nervous watching the game.
With all the luck we’ve had in the last month or so, Fulham were due to equalize with an own goal, with a minute of added time to play.
So it was a huge relief when Michael headed that second goal – and we had got all 3 points.
Let’s hope we can do that a few more times this season – our fans certainly deserve it.
Comments very welcome.

Would be better if we could convert more of our chances. Hopefully that will change and we will see a more confident team playing the rest of the season.
I like the look of the 4-3-3 with Duke Owen and Oba leading the attack, wonder if that’ll be played @ Spurs again.
Has KK made his mind up about Duff? looks like it
.
Once Smith was dropped we had a much better chance at winning imo.
