Kevin Keegan has again revealed that he has genes that link him to the Geordie Nation.

Kevin talked to the Newcastle Evening Chronicle today about his Geordie heritage:
Keegan said:
“My father was a Geordie, I have got it in my genes. Yes, I know what it means having played in the derbies and having managed in them.”
“This is Newcastle, I am a Geordie – I am naturalized almost now in these games because I have played in a few and managed a few.”
“I know what they are about.â€
Kevin has certainly taken the Newcastle club to his heart, and he is getting ready for his second revolution at Newcastle.
If we have a good run-in to the season, after a dodgy start, he will have already transformed the team, in terms of how they play. And he took so much undeserved criticism at the beginning of his second tenure, it was so unfair.
But Kevin knows he and his team can make the headlines, and he’s determined that those headline will be positive in the future.
We’re sure he’s going to be right on that one.
Just can’t wait for next season to arrive.

thats why i called for the guy even when sam was still in charge , and thats why i belive it take a geordie or someone close to manage this club .
from his work in the community to the way he communicates with fans and press , keegan knows what buttons to push at this club and city .
our wannabe managers should be made to get to know what there comming into , or they will end up like sam .

Leo i refrain from saying it as i dont wanna come off as a cock (or get sent a blue peter badge) , but i was calling to sack sam allerdyce and replace him with keegan about 10 game into the season , granted then it was only a dream (funny how it turned out
), then when sam got sacked i shouted for keegan again , got laughed at and told to shut up like the rest of us 
but id heard a few soundbites from him and was pretty certain he’d come back
and i didnt want him based of nostalgia , i think he’s an amazing manager and dont buy into the tacticaly nieve nonsense that even the likes of bobby robson seems tobe labeling him with .
im one of those ‘he must know the club’ people , im hardly going to say no to keegan am i .
