Geremi has played for some top teams, including Real Madrid and Chelsea, before Sam Allardyce signed him on a free transfer for Newcastle United last summer.

Geremi - will do his old club no favors
Geremi talked to the Sun today, about the game on Monday against his old club Chelsea:
“Considering how Chelsea fought back from fourth to be in contention, it goes to show they have the strength to go all the way.â€
“No one gave them a chance five months ago but now it’s really exciting. It’ll be a deserved win if they manage to keep up their momentum and win the league.â€
“United have also been in good form and that’s why they are the defending Premier League champions.†“But if Chelsea win, I’ll be happy for my friends there, and of course there are many of them in London.â€
“Personally, I don’t have to prove anything to Chelsea or anyone but rather to fight hard as a Newcastle player. I’m sorry for Chelsea but that’s football.â€
“It’s a very unfortunate situation for them because it’s our last game at home, against one of the big teams. We need the result and cannot come out second best.”
“We’re not going to let them come here and win, that’s for sure.â€
It’s true that Chelsea have done really well this season, and their Israeli manager, Avram Grant, has hardly received the accolades he deserves for what he’s achieved. But make no mistake, Chelsea will bring their top team to St. James’ Park on late Monday afternoon, and it promises to be a titanic game for the watching fans.
The game will be beamed on TV around the world to millions and millions of football fans.
It’s hard to predict the scoreline - but we’d be very surprised and disappointed if Newcastle don’t give the Chelsea side a very tough game indeed.
What do you think?
Comments very welcome

would settle for a draw considering who we are playing and how bad we were last week.when you think how well you play some weeks and dont win or get beat,we actually should have been embarrassed last week,it could have been a hammering.no pun intended.hope he shakes things up this week.would drop viduka[hasnt been fit for 3 weeks].give carroll a run.

yeah give carroll a go so he gets experience against a top side under little or no pressure.

It will be a great game IMO. 1-1 draw will do for me!

Show some flairs and get at least at goal. They have a a very solid defence, let’s see how we deal with them.

What a goal by Ashton,West Ham went on Old Trafford with a white flag.
They’re doing them a huge favour,West Ham have no pride at all.
Imagine we let Chelsea beat us 20-0,hahahaha.

I agree Hadji, they are going to lay down and die for Man U, Curbishley needs the sack anyway, the fans arent on his side

monday the final score will be 3-3 owen gets 2 and barton gets the other for us

Oh please it wouldn’t matter how West Ham wanted to play they wouldn’t have won this game. They could have been chasing down the Uefa spot and still lost. This is a Ferguson side at the top of the league, in the Champions League final and in good form. If they we’re in the Fa Cup final they’d win that to.

This is going to be a true test; a full strength Chelsea side looking to not loose the Premiership. Gonna be tough for Butt, Barton and the back four. As usual with our team we will make chances and more than likely knick a couple. But can our lot halt Drogba, Ballack, Lampard et al at the other end!

Faustino check West Hams recent record against Man U

I know it very well mate… just in this position I’d fancy them to beat anyone wouldn’t you, espeically at home? Also you aren’t going to find a more confident bunch of players are you?
By the by really, they beat them 4-1 with ten men so I’m sure you can see my point
