Wow, Martins should have put that in, much like his chance he created in the West Ham game. Shame because this time it cost us.

I thought this was a cup Newcastle could have won this season but now they are out there is still the FA Cup to come but that will be harder.

Can’t see how the FA cup will be harder - in fact could be easier if we get a couple of minnows to start off with

FA cup won’t be harder…we’re playing without duff and barton… and the fact is arsenal are the best team in the league…currently… but i don’t understand what sam’s doing…ameobi on the left, smith as captain,…weird… i think captain should be someone team-mates respect…not some arrogant bully…it would be interested to see what beye and cacapa think of having him as a captain…they were both captains of major clubs and they’re both calm…and smith’s acting like a woman in labour… btw…what’s his natural position? he’s no winger, no midfielder and the only time he really impressed as striker was a loooong time ago…at leeds, so…?? i just want to know where would you all play him…in the midfield? or up front? the fact is we have owen, viduka, martins… and sam is already having a problem keeping martins happy…

What Smith captain of the team? That is the supidest thing I heard, why he?? There have been some decisions during the last couple of weeks which I just don’t understand. Here they are:
1. Ameobi in the starting lineup over Martins (Derby)
2. Taylor in the starting lineup agains Derby; knowing the period in which he was was not easy for him. IMO he was not clear in his head te be focussed 100% for that game.
3. Geremi replaced at Derby, Smih took the captaincy with Cacapa on the field.
4. Owen in the starting lineup against WHU knowing it was a risque to play him.
5. Smith capatin of the team.
6. Ameobi on the left????
I don’t know what BS is doing but I think he might have taken a few stupid descisions.

Cacapa as captain? As far as I know he isn’t fluent in English and I don’t think it is a good idea to make someone captain who has only played a couple of games in England. It would be too much pressure too soon.
