Taken off at half-time against Portsmouth last week and presumably given a dressing down by Roeder - we assume Charles N’Zogbia was one of the players who didn’t turn up in the first half last week.
The local press have been telling stories of N’Zogbia wanting to leave Newcastle in the summer.
Last season, when Roeder assumed the manager duties at Newcastle, he played N’Zogbia in almost every game and the youngster played extremely well.
Certainly he seems a very good player for the future – a crowd favorite, and still only twenty years old.
Charles N’Zogbia has started 67 games for Newcastle and been introduced as a substitute in another 30 games - 97 total appearances for the club before he’s 21 years old.
Last summer, when Newcastle bought Damien Duff, fans wondered why – since we already had a couple of good young players ready to play there – N’Zogbia and Alan O’Brien.
Duff’s signing put a question mark over N’Zogbia in terms of how many games he would get – since he is the type of player who wants to play every game.
Surely N’Zogbia – with some good mentoring and training can still become a very good player at Newcastle – seems like he is one to keep.
Let’s keep N’Zogbia at Newcastle – he’s far too young and talented to let go.

I’m afraid that Roeder may get rid of N’Zogbia in the summer - think that would be a mistake - he’s too good and too young to let go right now - and the fans love him.

Why would he do that? Personal differences?

I think N’Zogbia is one of the slackers Roeder has talked about….and vowed to rid the club of them.
But with Charles being so young it would be stupid to let him go - which is the major point.
